Overview

Used 14100 liters VacuDry Thermal Desorption Unit manufactured by Deutsche Vacuumapparate Holland-Merten GmbH. 4100 liters Capacity in the interior and 655 liters in the heating room. Interior rated 7.25 psi @752F, boiling room rated 261 psi @725F. Interior chamber, suitable for processing oily sludges and soils, and the heating room, designed for Diphenyl- / Biphenyloxid, are both made from carbon steel. A Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU), specifically a Vacuum Paddle Dryer (VPD), is used for the thermal treatment of contaminated materials, typically in environmental remediation and industrial processes. Its primary function is to remove volatile and semi-volatile contaminants, such as hydrocarbons, solvents, and other organic compounds, from solids like soil, sludge, and industrial residues through heat and vacuum drying.
