Used 12000 ton-per-year glycerin plant, commissioned in 2012 and shut down in 2013. The technology and designer are DBO (Desmet Ballestra Oleo). Manufacturing of crude glycerin (80 - 85%) takes place through multi-stage distillation and rectification. Final product is 99.5% pure technical glycerin. The plant has on-site railroad that has access to a major seaport.
