The Combined Cycle Power Project has 3 modules of ‘STAG 209FAMS’ Power Generating sets with Multi – Shaft arrangement. Each module having a capacity of 754 MW, consisting of (2) GE 9FA.03 Gas Turbines & Generators, (2) CMI Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG), (1) GE D11 Steam Turbine & Generator. Equipment designed for 50 Hertz. Natural gas requirement for the plant is about 9.6 mmscmd. Out of the total 2,262 MW Capacity, about 51 MW is based on the evaporative cooling system. With the evaporative cooling system in switched off mode the total output from modules is 2211 MW.
